Mystery Electronics and "J-Rock"

What is tonight's show all about? Well, first off, I forgot to copy myself my playlist. So instead, of my usual profuse of apologies, I am making this a contest of the brains. If any listener can name any of the tracks and bands played in the first hour, I will reward them with one CD album of my choice. If you can't even fathom any of these artists, that's quite alright, since you've won the great knowledge of this music. The tracks and musical groups shall be revealed sometime tomorrow. (Update, they have been revealed. Thanks for playing!)

Tonight's second hour starts out with a marathon track by 70s multi-talented musician Magical Power Mako with a track from his limited and sold out 5 CD-Reissue of an LP released long ago. Following him is High Rise, an oldie from their 1980s album.
