I voted today for a number of politicians and judges and chairmen. You should if you can and live in a state where it actually matters...unless you hate how the government operates, you probably know how to live with government out of your life.

Last night I found a cassette that I've owned for about two years and never listened to it until today. It's a Northampton Wools 2xCS on Bonescraper. I was somewhat reluctant, but each 12 minute side is noise that keeps me attentive to its complex details. Pick this up if you happen to run into it.

I'm out of Iowa City at the end of the month. I'll be around in New York.

I'm in Sacramento for the past month and in here for another month. For you Iowan who peek at this blog once in awhile, and are lacking some tunes, DJ Rick, who DJs from the UC Davis holds his own program called Art for Spastics. This is my last show for the semester and I won't be back on until the Fall semester. The first hour starts off with some new and old acid psych rock from all over the first worlds. The last half is a bit of my keyboard-synth obssessions, from popular electro to obscure New Wave chart-bottomers.

If you're feeling social and want to experience some live sounds, Iowa City will be quite hopping this summer with Animal Collective, Sightings, Parts & Labor, and other great shows. Check out Outsound because they throw the best shows in town. Also, I will be laptop/Kaoss Pad disc jockeying/performing in the Ped Mall as part of the May Day festivities from 6-7 (or was it 5-6?) on Tuesday.
